MAD PEOPLE EVERY WHERE

Lets begin with the definition of insanity. It is a severe mental illness, it is any thing foolish or unreasonable. Madness goes beyond what we see physically, it is not just the display of action or looks of a person. It is also about an individual state of mind. There are mad people every where and they dont just know it. You just might be living with one now. I was finding it hard to check my social media page because i was disgusted about a lot of things. I heard about the child burnt to death for stealing in Lagos, at first i didn't want to believe it, i felt it was barbaric. Till i saw pictures every where. Who are the people that indulged in that act? MAD PEOPLE. secondly the issue of rape is on the rise. What do you call a grown up man who looks upon a child of two years to get sexual gratification. MAD right? Every problem or crisis we experience in the country and the world as a whole is one way or the other related to insanity. If you indulge in acts that causes destruction, pain, undevelopment, unprogressiveness. You need to check your mental state. Now considering the fact that madness is apparent amongst us. What then should we do because obviously the psychiatric homes can't accommodate the large percentage of insane people amongst us. EDUCATION is the solution. It might not bring an end to the problem but it will go along way to help curtail it.The mind set of humans have to be set right. I am getting mad over this madness like seriously, it is high time ILLITERACY becomes illegal and purnishable by law. Who is with me on this?

YOU CAN'T ALWAYS RELY ON OTHERS

Stand up for what is right, even if you are alone. William Penn stated, "Right is right, even if everyone is against it, and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it." Even if your friends were to always have your back and be there to support you,you have to keep in mind that they have lives of their own. Learning to stand on your own two feet all the time will make it easier to stand alone when things get ugly and there is no one there to help you; This is not to say that we shouldn't ever ask for help, we should ask as often as possible. However, we must be ready to take on any burden ourselves if that is the only possible solution. The real world might feel like a big competition, but there's only one person you need to defeat and that person is"YOURSELF". Do not rely on others. If they can't help, you must become your hero. Does an athlete stop his race if there are no cheers from the spectators? Like an athlete, we must run to the finish line and fulfill our purpose with or without cheers, support, and encouragement from friends.
YOU CAN ALWAYS TRUST IN THE POWER OF GOD
God is able to help those who seek him easier than those who don't. He is waiting to help with hands outstretched, we just have to be willing to come to him and use His help. When we put our trust in God and rely on him, the challenges we face wouldn't break us but rather they will strenghten our faith and build us up. We all have trials and difficulties which in a way help us grow and and achieve our full potential. We can find the necessary strenght to overcome anything by relying on God.

BUILD A HEALTHY SELF-ESTEEM FOR A HAPPIER AND MORE SUCCESSFUL YOU

Self-esteem is simply how you feel about yourself, how you feel about your abilities and limitations. When you have an healthy self -esteem, you feel good about yourself and see yourself as deserving the respect of others. Self-esteem is healthy if, it isn't too high or too low but just right. A lot of factors contributes in moulding one's self -esteem and they include; your own thoughts and perception, how others react to you, experiences at work, home, and in the community, disability, culture or religion and status in the society. But one good factor, is that your own thoughts have the biggest impact on your self-esteem. Also just like any other thing, healthy self -esteem can be learnt. So therefore, your journey to healthy self esteem begins with you.
1. Ask yourself this; What qualities do i need to possess to make me feel better about myself? Its no doubt that we humans have limitations in some areas of life. It could be in body features, knowledge capacity, skills etcetera, that is because no one is perfect. You might have a good body feature which others admire but also be unintelligent as some others. If this be the case, you can further develop your mental prowess by learning some more. In the case of enhancing your look, there are good options you can consider such as; exercising, eating healthy, practicing good hygiene and dressing smart .
2. Set goals:Self -esteem is further developed when you set goals that are meaningful and important to you,and you follow through to make it happen. It send a clear message to your brain that says " i can do all that i set my mind to do". With this feeling, you can achieve greater things.
3. Practice forgiveness: Often times, we act in ways that are beyond our control, and we often wish that the action was never carried out. But has we say, what has happened, has happened. The quicker we convince ourselves to let go,the better for us. Having an healthy self -esteem doesn't mean you won't fail or you won't find yourself in embarrassing moments. The question is; how do you handle it? Do you keep on dwelling on the mistake? If the answer to this is yes? Ask yourself, has that helped to change the situation, if no; then let it go for your mistakes don't define you.
